New Embellished Gift Buckets

Here are my new designs for June 2008.

This one is painted blue with book pages… I thought this would be cute sitting by your reading chair holding your glasses, a pencil or a bookmark. There is a little nest tag on the handle.

Let Freedom Ring. This is my 4th of July design. I plan on making more of these for the upcoming holiday. I think this would be nifty holding mini American flags! Or some of the red, white and blue taffy!

This is one of my favorites! It features a vintage looking postcard with a stamp and postmark and of course a fabulous nest. The handle has a tag with a little blue egg. The inside of this pot was left natural to go with the nest theme. Around the bottom (behind the photo and around the back) is a torn book page.

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs! Here is another vintage looking label with all sorts of eggs. It has the same postcard/stamp background and is on my new favorite orangy color pot. The inside of this one was left natural as well. As you can see, the tag on the handle simply says “egg”.

Embellished Gift Bucket

This little ”bucket”is made from a peat flower pot, handpainted and embellished with paper, wire, glitter and ribbon. It measures approx. 5.5″ tall and 3″ wide. The original design of this pot is to be a form of “giftwrap”. I will include a tulle circle to go inside the pot to use as you would tissue paper in a giftbag. Tuck a little treasure in there and you have two great gifts in one! I am going to give my mom and step-mom these for Mother’s Day with Starbucks cards and chocolate candy inside!

So I have this Number thing going right now… I have been into Letters for years, but Numbers are inspiring me lately… I seem to be drawn to them… These 4 framed numbers can be hung vertically {as shown} horizontally, or 1and 2 on the top 3 and 4 underneath… Endless Possibilities…

The frames are about 6 x6 inch squares.
